440ml can. A dust dry and very bitter, double dry-hopped California IPA at session strength. Yellow grapefruit, yuzu, gooseberry and fresh pine. Juicy, spicy and herbal with a trace of hop burn. Another excellent hazy from Cloudwater. Remarkable that this brewery delivers so much complexity, flavour and body in this style for just 5% alcohol. (As a Brit living in the States, US breweries please take note!!!)

Pours a hazy light orange with soft, soapy head.

Smell is crisp and fruity with a floral twist. Notes of grapes, citrus, chamomille, iced tea, gooseberries and grass.

Taste is crisp, fruity and grassy. Notes of grapes, tea, peach, citrus and gooseberries. Soft btterness and a floral, dry finish.

Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.

Overall, another banger APA from CW.

Pours a hazy, bright orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity malt and citrus/tropical/stone fruit notes of orange, mango and peach. Taste is an excellent balance of biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, herbal, spicy and bitter hops, with citrus, tropical, stone fruit and berry notes of orange, mango, peach and gooseberry, as well as distinct herbal and peppery notes coming through in the aftertaste. Finishes with a medium/strong bitterness and some orange, mango and herbal, spicy accents lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

An excellent Pale Ale with a great body and mouthfeel for the ABV, as well as an impressive array of different hop flavors, with some rather varied fruity notes as well as bitter, herbal and spicy elements. I really love the balance of fruity, herbal and bitter notes here, while there is a ligthly zesty and acidic feel to this as well. Quite complex, yet easy-drinking, making for a very enjoyable drinking experience.

440ml Can from Curious Liquids, Glasgow (£4.95):
Really thick as it pours, almost like a smoothie with a pale golden, opaque body & a 1cm, foamy white head that holds great top. It's fruity & tropical smelling but not the strongest, some citrus, mango & light pineapple with a subdued floral bitterness to finish but it could've been stronger. The fruity flavours, tropical fruits & citrus carry over to the taste with the mango dominating. It's quite fresh & very smooth with a medium to full body but the nose & taste could have been more pronounced at times; the balance was great though.
