One in a series of four Imperial Stouts inspired by the skill and finesse of master chocolatiers. A fine blend of young beer, which spent two months in a first-fill Port barrel, and mature beer, aged 20 months in a cherry wine barrel.
This edition received additions of coffee, cacao and ancho chilli.
Made with time and love at Cloudwater.

Pours jet black with fine chocolate colored head.
Smell is roasted and sweet with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, chocolate cake, rum port, tobacco, cocoa and leather with some slight hints of chili.
Taste is intense, sweet and a bit roasted. Notes of dark chocolate, coffee, leather, vanilla, port, chili and some hints of tart cherries. Soft bitterness and excellent balance.
Mouthfeel is thick, chewy and well carbonated.
Overall, a great stout where the chili doesn't take the wheel, thankfully.
