Citra & Loral is a pairing that speaks of summer. Loral's vibrant fresh orange aromatics and bright floral presence evoke lush countryside in full, radiant bloom, while Citra's succulent mango character transports you to altogether more tropical climes. Now you've got the best of both worlds.

Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity malt and citrus/tropical hops, with notes of orange, lime peel and mango, as well as some floral accents also coming through. Taste is a great balance of biscuity malt and fruity, floral, slightyl grassy and dank hops, with strong citrus and lighter tropical notes of orange, grapefruit, lime peel and mango, as well as just a hint of grassy weed. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some citrus zest and floral accents lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a light/medium body and medium carbonation.
While I'm not a huge fan of Loral hops personally, those overly floral notes are thankfully more subdued here, with the citrus zest and lighter tropical accents from Citra really dominating here, indeed providing quite a summery and refreshing flavor profile. While the body seems just a tad light, it's really not too bad for a Pale Ale like this, while the mouthfeel does manage a certain softness very nicely for the style. Overall, this makes for a very enjoyable, light and refreshing summer Pale Ale with quite a zesty, slightly floral flavor profile and good body and mouthfeel.
