This regularly brewed modern Pale Ale captures everything we love about the style. It channels the easy drinkability of those classic session beers we find ourselves returning to time and again, while treating you to bright, vibrant aromatics from a blend of our favourite hops. Full-flavoured, yet soft, juicy and refreshing.

Sample pour:
Lemon hazy body with no head due to glass size, but lacing indicates the head would probably be solid in a normal pour. Easier to taste first, and there’s a nice amount of pithy fruit in my first few sips. Light body that the flavors fill in for nicely. Tangerine, lemon zest, and grapefruit up front with a grapefruit peel finish. Half done, the nose is similar to my tasting notes, just considerably lighter (though a mini Hefe taster glass might not be highlighting aromas well enough).

440 ml can, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 3.5%. Slightly hazy pale yellow colour, moderate, white head. Fairly nice aroma of citric and herbal hops. Citric, thin and fizzy mouthfeel. Citric and herbal hops in the flavour too, but the bitterness is low.

Pours a hazy yellow with soft, fluffy head.

Smell is juicy and grassy, a little bit dank. Notes of gooseberries, melon, citrus, nectarine and green tea.

Taste is juicy, hoppy and grassy. Very clean, crisp and drinkable wth notes of citrus, gooseberries, melon and tea. Soft bitterness.

Mouthfeel is thin to medium, soft and well carbonated.

Overall, a terrific low ABV pale ale, a style the Cloudwater are the masters of.
