Our Breeze series aims to capture the mouthwatering vibrancy of freshly-picked fruit. To get the most out of the fruit additions, we layer them on a soft, smooth base, complemented by fruity aroma hops and an acidity that's tart and zippy rather than puckeringly sour. This edition combines juicy raspberry with tangy passion fruit.

Bevis Maun is drinking a Raspberry & Passionfruit Gentle Breeze by Cloudwater Brew Co. at Sadler’s Cat

Half served on keg at Sadler’s cat pub. Pours a slightly hazy cherry red body with swirls. Aroma is passion fruit fizz. Flavour is low and lazy fruit sour.

Pours an opaque, maroon red coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light doughy malt and vibrant passion fruit and raspberry notes. Taste is an excellent balance of light doughy malt, sweet passion fruit and tart raspberry, with a great, citric underlying lactic acidity. Finishes with a medium tartness and some passion fruit and raspberry lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

While this doesn't have a lot of complexity to it, as is to be expected from the style, it certain has got a very fresh, natural, vibrant and expressive passion fruit and raspberry character to it, with them both complemeting each other well and the raspberry perhaps standing out just a bit more. Great level of acidity as well, making for a very refreshing summer beer.
