Sail off into the warm glow of a Pacific sunset. This West Coast riff on our much-loved DDH IPA, I Have Become The Boat, combines clean Californian yeast and a snappy finish with the juicy hop aromatics and a touch of the softness that made the original so popular.

Pours a hazy, golden amber coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity, doughy malt and citrus/tropical hops, with notes of orange and mango, as well as some pine coming through as well. Taste is an excellent balance of biscuity, doughy malt and fruity, juicy, resinous, herbal, slightly floral hops, with citrus and tropical notes of orange, grapefruit, mango and pineapple, as well as some pine. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some grapefruit, mango and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
From my notes, this indeed reminds me a lot of the beer it was inspired by, which was already a kind of NE/WC hybrid although not being explicitly labeled as such. It's a style that Cloudwater has always excelled at and kinda brought to its culmination here, with a superb balance of juicy citrus/tropical and bitter/resinous notes that really works out great. Overall, this makes for a great hybrid beer that has sort of become Cloudwater's signature style, making for a very enjoyable drinking experience.

Pours a hazy yello with fine, soft head.
Smell is juicy and a bit floral and dank. Notes of grapefruit, pine, peach, gooseberries and grass.
Taste is juicy, grassy and floral with a solid bitterness. Notes of citrus, citrus peel, gooseberries, peach and pine with a slightly herbal finish and a solid bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft, sticky and well carbonated.
Overall, of course Cloudwater nail a west/east coast hybrid IPA. It's kinda their thang.
