Copenhagen 1/1 2023. 44 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Christmas inspired can with pine needles, tangerine snd red berries.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with sweet odor of stone fruit mingling with a stronger citric scent and distinct fumes of pine. Peach and pineapple. Tart tangerine and lemon. Pine tree and resin.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, sooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit searing. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
A fruity Christmas.

Pours a hazy light orange with soft, soapy head.
Smell is juicy and bit sweet with notes of candied orange, pine, pineapple and tangerine.
Taste fruity and a bit sweet. Notes of pine, candied orange, grapefruit and some floral and spicy hints. Solid bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a very tasty and unique take on a pale ale.
