We teamed up with our friends at Pohjala for this collaboration, using a massive proportion of spelt as the base for this DIPA to give thick mouthfeel and haze, while retaining dangerous drinkability for the ABV.
The bright lime sherbert of Motueka, and the subtle pine of Chinook is backed up by an addition of Citra, bringing a layer of tropical dankness to round the flavours off.

Pours a hazy light orange with soft, thick head.
Smell is juicy and sweet with notes of orange juice, orange sorbet, lime, melon, pine, gooseberries, peach syrup and some floral hints.
Taste is juicy, sweet and intense. Notes of orange juice, melon ice cream, pine, gooseberies, and peach with some floral and herbal hints. Soft bitterness and impeccable balance.
Mouthfeel is full, chewy and smooth, but slightly under carbonated.
Overall, yet another superb DIPA from CW.
