It is like this: flowers, while loved, fail; and weeds, while hated, flourish.
The HBC 630 hops provide the bright, fruity notes you'd expect from a hazy pale ale. Then, Columbus kicks in, offering its distinct, balanced herbaceous finish. Columbus hops are known for their earthy, spicy, and savoury characteristics, bringing that magic dankness. They also add a robust layer of complexity with notes of black pepper and subtle citrus undertones.
Combining these two hop varieties creates a balanced blend where the initial fruity sweetness transitions smoothly into a satisfying, slightly bitter finish. This pale ale is perfect for those who appreciate the nuanced interplay of hop flavours, delivering a refreshing yet sophisticated beer.

440ml can. A subtle and delicate APA. Very understated in all departments without becoming boring. Gentle citrus with a weedy undercurrent. Soft mouthfeel, very light bitterness, no dryness, a touch of sweetness in the finish. Improves as the beer warms. Session strength but a bit too delicate for a session?
