Bold, dank, and citrusy—here is the next instalment of our Proper DIPA series.
This time we used a yeast strain from Stockport's own Robinsons Brewery, paired with a generous dose of Citra hops. This blend allows the hops to truly shine, paying homage to one of Manchester's great brewing traditions.
This is the first DIPA made with Robinson's house yeast and our first time brewing with it. Manchester is unique in the UK, boasting a rich history of family breweries, a vibrant microbrewery scene, and a world-renowned craft beer culture. No other city can claim to represent the last 150+ years of UK brewing as comprehensively as Manchester, and we are immensely proud to be part of that legacy.

440ml can. A big, bold, hazy, dank, citrus fruit bomb. Looks pretty generic and flavour is a little one-dimensional but aroma and mouthfeel are standout. Alcohol is well disguised.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
