A beer that utilises local family brewer J.W. Lees' over 5000 generation-old yeast, which provides a wonderful backbone to complement sticky sweet mango and pineapple with an aroma absolutely bursting out of the glass.
The lashings of Riwaka add a subtle smoky undertone which helps balance out the sweetness and ensure you go back for more.

Pours a hazy light orange with soft head.
Smell is fruity, juicy and peppery. Notes of gooseberries, melon, citrus and lemongrass with some floral hints.
Taste is fruity, juicy, peppery and intense. Notes of citrus, mango, gooseberries and lemongrass with some floral hints and a soft but distinct bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium to full, chewy, pillowy and well carbonated.
Overall, a superb DIPA, intense but still bright and drinkable.
