The first in a series of small batch beers exclusively for Beer Club subscribers and in limited amounts in our taprooms.
This DIPA is inspired by those creamy, thick milkshake style IPAs. We increased the amount of flaked barley and oat malt compared to our usual DIPAs to make the beer chewier and unctuous.
The addition of vanilla adds a creamy aroma and the bitter orange zest, paired with similarly zesty Sabro, Motueka and Loral hops, provides a mouth filling, yet refreshing taste.

440ml can.
L: Opaque, orange colour with a reddish core. The small head collapses quickly to a thin smear and leaves no lacing.
S: Citrus and herbs.
T: Lots of citrus with a green backdrop. The vanilla and orange zest adjuncts are very obvious. Medium bitterness.
F: Medium body with a silken mouthfeel.
O: Big and bold… and a little bit overblown…?
