A cross-border collaboration with our friends from Edinburgh, Moonwake.

We decided there's nothing better than a DIPA with lashings of NZ hops and an oat-heavy grist for a thick and punchy experience.

Hops: Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, Citra.

look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75
440ml can.
L: Opaque, dark orange colour with one finger of off-white head that reduces quickly to a smear.
S: Extremely herbal.
T: Overripe mango and green, freshly cut wood. Rich and heady and dank. Some alcohol heat emerges slowly.
F: Full body, luscious mouthfeel, dry-ish finish.
O: A big New England-style DIPA. Heavy and dense. Takes no prisoners. Gets a bit hard work towards the end, particularly as the beer warms, when it verges on soupy.
