This IWD we commemorate the original ale wives of years gone by, often persecuted for their mistaken affiliation with witchcraft despite frequently being documented as pillars of the community offering a safe haven, sustenance and independence for those around them. We also turn our minds towards the pioneers of the future, those who lead the way for women in brewing, especially those in marginalized or minority communities. As a company made up of almost 50% women, we must constantly strive for better opportunity, diversity and treatment within craft beer and we hope you will join us to raise a glass to celebrate this International Women’s Day.
This 5% Bright Pale is brimming with all the classic characteristics of a West Coast IPA, a piney bitterness, a clean, crisp base and fresh earth edge. This time we’ve loaded it up with Citra and Amarillo to give a decadent layers of marmalade spread, honeydew melon and orange pith creating a vibrant balance of sweet and bitter, reminiscent of orange and yellow fruit pastilles.
Hops: Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo, and Idaho 7.

Copenhagen 18/5 2026. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Strange motif on the black can with arms erupting from clouds gripping a staff. Apparently a beer brewed for the international women's day.
Pours slightly unclear golden amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, patchy lyer of foam clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of ripe stone fruits angling with tart citrus fruit. Sweet peach and nectarine. Grapefruit and citrus. Whiff of resin.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oil, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and citric. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Bitter and elegant.
