Copenhagen 26/5 2019. 33 cl bottle from Vinbørsen, Nordre Frihavnsgade, Kbh Ø. Windswept Brewings usual symmetric design with the big W in the center. This time in dark green.

Pours murky, brown with a big off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just managing to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is fruity, citric and slightly perfumed. Caramel sweetness balanced by a citric odor of citrus and Grape fruit. Lighter notes of sweet exotic fruit. Peach, ripe Pear and Mango. Some wet cardboard as well.

Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly prickly texture.

Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with the citric bitterness hiding just beneath. Lingers shortly. Semi-dry finish.

More malty sweet than I would expect in a IPA. But pretty well balanced. I think the word I am looking for is Civilized - but also a little tedious.

330 ml bottle conditioned, L067, from Aberdeen Country Fair. Single hop Citra IPA. ABV is 6.7%. Cloudy brown colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Woody and hoppy aroma, notes of pine and citrus. The flavour is citric and somewhat woody, quite dry, bitter finish.

L4 Amber, rather than light gold normally seen in American style IPAs. Excellent foamy head.
S4.25 Citrus
T4 Balanced bitterness, single citra very nice.
F3.75 Good carbonation, mouthfeel a little thin.
O4 Very sensionable, but would expect slightly bigger flavour at 6.75%

First things first...this is a gusher. This pours amber coloured into a tulip with a head about 4-5 fingers high, offwhite and wispy. It takes a long time to settle.

Aroma is toasted caramel and hops. Flavour is malty, a little bitter with some toffee, cooked orange, apricot, grapefruit peel and fresh hop bitterness. It's more of a stewed IPA with deeper flavours.

Feel is light-medium with some carbonation and a dry finish.

Overall I think it's alright.

Bottle conditioned, all the yeast is kicked up in the pour, murky brown with decent head.

Lots of sweetness, reminds me of refreshers sweets, not particularly good or inviting and where is the citra?

Flavour again not much, sweet again at least with a counteracting bitterness. It's a bit of a nothing beer

Avoid

Bottle pour into tulip.

Very cloudy dark caramel colour. Short lived white head. Aromas somewhat muted but there is some pine and a bit of weird funk in there. Pleasantly bitter taste with some nuttiness to it. Short aftertaste. Overall, ok I suppose.
