Silkeborg 21/7 2020. 33 cl bottle from Vin & Vin, Østergade, Silkeborg. Windswept’s usual symmetrical design in orange with the big “W” in the center.

Pours unclear golden yellow with a medium-sized fluffy white head. Settles as a 2 cm thick, frothy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet maltiness mingling with lemonade-ish, fruity notes. Sweet pale malts. Citrus and lime.

Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, soft yet tingling texture.

Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers shortly. Thin watery finish.

Thin, watery and refreshing. But so is cold water.

Cask half pint at The Grill, Aberdeen. 4.0% ABV. Golden colour, white head. A little fruit in the aroma. The smooth and slightly dry flavour has a nice fruitiness, fairly well hopped throughout. Easy drinking.

Pours golden and full of sediment chunks with a two finger white head.

Aroma is pale malts, citrus and fresh hops. Flavour is very hoppy and bitter for a blonde. There is a lot of citrus and fresh oranges in the taste along with sweet lemon, some apricot, light biscuit and muted crisp bitterness.

This is very easy drinking, sessionable, light and watery.

I think is a very nice session blonde. Don't really have any problems with it whatsoever.

Bottle pour into pint glass.

As someone who generally doesn't like blonde ales I admit that I probably shouldn't have bought this. A fairly generic beer; sort of lager-max. Refreshing enough I suppose but nothing worth spending any sort of time dwelling on.
