This is one of the best IPAs I had the pleasure of drinking in 2016. With the laws finally be relaxed in New Jersey for craft breweries to actually flourish, Brix City is leading the charge with this New Zealand version of their flagship Just Another IPA. Brewed with hops all from New Zealand, to be honest I liked it even better than the original. I had no idea I liked New Zealand hops but this beer is enough for me to want to seek out anything with Nelson Sauvin. Beautiful tropical smell, maybe a little bit of like a damp forest. In terms of mouthfeel, it's pretty light but there's also a nice body there where it's unfiltered. Never feels heavy though even when the 6.5% starts to hit after I finish two of them. In terms of taste forget it. I wish my palate was more refined so I could figure out what all these flavors were and then find beers that have the same profile. There's some pineapple, passion fruit and pine in there but it's so well balanced it's hard to pick out exactly what's going on. 5 stars. Wish I bought more!

Soooo much better than Just Another Double IPA. Out of the fridge the smell was a bit muted though the flavor still full. But once it warmed a bit it really came alive. Earthy spicy hops with hints of white grape and peach. Smooth and delicious. yb
