Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing nearly opaque in the glass with a one finger dark khaki head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, coffee, bakers chocolate and a hint of vanilla. Flavor is dark toasted malt with light char, bakers chocolate and light drip coffee. Medium bodied with light creaminess and sharp carbonation. A somewhat two dimensional coffee stout with a lighter than expected body for an oatmeal stout. Flavor is good, with solid coffee presence that is nondescript but Both a little char and chocolate, rather dry which is appropriate for the style. Wish there was more oatmeal mouth feel, but hits the spot for flavor.

A Tavour Treat. Pours a dark brown color with a foamy tan head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of coffee and roasted malts. Taste is black coffee with a hint of vanilla sweetness. Smooth and creamy.

16 oz. can poured into a teku glass at 52°. Can is 2ish months old.
Near-black with an impressive, rocky head. Poured aggressively, it's a solid 2 fingers of tan foam for 5+ minutes.
Nose is chocolate liqueur, coffee, and earth. Hints of ethanol-y alcohol.
Taste is mocha and light, earthy bitterness.
Mouthfeel is on the thin side of medium which lends itself to a vaguely soapy finish.
Overall, a solid stout but nothing special. 7.5/10

Pours black with a nice fluffy brown head. Aroma has lots of roasty notes and some milk chocolate without the sweetness. Tatse hits the same notes as the aroma but this time there is some sweetness with the milk chocolate; flavors are rounded and smooth. Decent mouthfeel, medium-light body and moderate carbonation, very smooth. Overall a tasty beer, it doesn't have much of a coffee presence but I still dig it.
