16oz can. Poured out a very cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of grapefruit, orange, peach and caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a sharp, piney bitterness.

Good, but not great NEIPA. This brings all the standard juiciest and hazy taste but not legendary or unique. That said, I would certainly reach for another.

Hazy check. Citrus check.
Head was thin and white. Nose is all the way grapefruit. Taste is much like the nose, grapefruit. Feel is slightly bitter, however this is a refreshing beer!

Poured from undated, but known to be fresh, can into a pint glass. It pours an opaque, light tangerine-yellow with a thick, flurry, bright white cap and extensive, soapy lacing. The smell features tart lemon and grapefruit with floral hops and some bready malt. The taste follows the nose and is dominated by lemon and grapefruit rind. As it warms a bit I detect notes of red berry and pine from the Mosaic hops and some melon and stone fruit from the Citra. It's dry and grassy with minimal bitterness and finishes clean. The mouth feel is lite and crisp with pleasant carbonation and the 6.5% ABV is no obstacle to a second pour. Overall, Tasty Jams is really basic: Mosaic and Citra seem almost a quaint hop bill these days. But it's versatile; substantive enough to pair with fish, pasta or pub fare while lite enough for a session.

I really wanted to like this beer - but like so much else in my stash, this was old and more importantly, not dated on the bottom of the can. I think the main problem that I had with this beer was that the hops in it were so common that nothing was going to stand out to me, even if I had this fresh from the canning line. No, this wasn't a drain pour but with so many superior offerings in this category to be had, this just didn't stand out to me in the end.
Of course, the pour to this was cloudy with a muted golden hue bordering on amber, topped off with plenty of frothy head. Enough dark sediment was floating in this with much of it settling at the bottom of the liquid. The lacing was decent as there was a moderately thick ring near the top of my glass with some of it dripping down to the layer below. Lots of melon, cantaloupe, and tropical fruit in the nose as the taste was just as exotic, with some pineapple and star fruit thrown in to round things out. Ripe, dank, and subtly sweet, this wasn't bad as much as it never caught on with me - even with a recessed malt presence and light carbonation.
Not a lot of booze in this either as the liquid was easily palatable from the get-go. This wasn't my cup of tea per se, even with an underlying herbal tone to it that tied everything in together. Hard to detect the Citra here as the Mosaic clearly dominated, long after I finished this off. I would have preferred to have this fresh but as it was, this was a fun beer with enough going for it that I'd want a second round - if it was available on hand!

Pouring from a 16 oz. can into a Willi Becher style glass, this beer pours completely hazy and dark, burnt orange in color. Love how dark these Brix City NEipas are. It forms a pinky of tightly packed, eggshell colored crown.
The nose brings huge melon along with some dankness. Juicy with some sweetness. More tropical than citrusy.
The taste brings the melon again before transistioning into a cracker/biscuit element. Slight orange. Some slight sweetness at the back. Caramel maybe.
Mouthfeel is soft and coats the mouth with that nice sweetness before turning slightly dry for the finish. No hop burn, slightly any sharpness.
Overall, these Brix City NEipas are very good.
