really solid east coaster here, and one of the better expressions of the newish idaho 7 hops i have experienced so far. i think these hops have a really bright future, especially in this style of beer, which i have not seen enough of so far. nice honey oily richness to them, but loads of late kettle and dry hopped tasting fruitiness too, heaps tropical, with papaya and mango notes, almost pulpy with the richer mouthfeel too, but dry by the finish and robustly carbonated. i think this is excellent beer, and like it as it warms up too, which is not usually true of this style. this one gets a little more berry to it, strawberry specifically, maybe some white grape too, peach even, these hops are awesome, and quite obviously very liberally dosed. bitterness is mild, almost at a pale ale level, but because of the bigger frothy body turning dry so late, it still have a nice snappy finish. better here than most of its peers. i wish i had more than one can, this was a treat, and all of us who tasted enjoyed it thoroughly. idaho 7 for the win! these have the potential to usurp citra, mark my words...
