A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy dark whitish yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down a bit but never completely faded away and left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of pine and stone fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of grapefruit hops along with notes of stone fruit and pine, the latter of which are mostly noticeable in the finish. Only a light amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and rather juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The taste of this IPA had a interesting combination of flavors of citrus, pine, and tropical fruit.

Reviewed two weeks after can release (3/2/2020). Poured into a Brix City teku glass. It pours an opaque, pastel tangerine color with a large, fluffy, bright white cap and thick, clinging lacing. Its fragrant nose features tangerine, honeydew, passion fruit, and lite pine and floral hops. It opens with tangerine, peach and stone fruit from the Galaxy hops but the initial sweetness is quickly balanced by tart, almost bitter lemon and grapefruit, dry white wine, resinous pine, and a slightly bitter hop bite from the Waimea and Rakau hops. The balance between sweet, bitter, and tart is excellent. This ale is thick and creamy with a pleasant level of carbonation, and it drinks very easily at 8% ABV. Overall, Curtain Call is very well conceived and executed: super flavorful and highly drinkable. Another fine offering from Brix City.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint; no production information, but purchased at the brewery this week.
A: Pours a cloudily opaque, dark golden color (think aged brass) with fluffy, foamy, one to two finger head, more than rim retention (actually about a half finger) and lathery, complex lacing.
S: Fruity with aromas of tangerine, papaya, caramelized barley, nectarine, and very light pine.
T: Semisweet. Flavor profile is a light melange consisting of citrus, particularly orange, papaya, and ripe peach. Strong bitterness light, particularly on the back end.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, although the clearing up front was impressive. Smooth, creamy, and rich.
O: Curtain Call is a solidly well constructed and executed AIIPA. It was worth the trip across the GWB to get some.
