L - Double dry hopped pale ale, huh? I'm interested. Goddamn this is murky as shit. Basically brown. Has a nice milky haze that I like, but in the end, it's dirty dishwater with not a whole lotta head to speak of.
S - Probably the biggest coriander punch I've ever smelt in a beer. So much sickly sweet orange and banana. Not my favorite aroma, but it is potent for what it is.
T - More of that coriander, but it's a hollow sort of taste. Definitely under ABV'd. Bitter and grassy, almost like they dry hopped the shit out of a non-existent beer. Weird. There is a big pop up front, then nothing for a bit until the earthy, gritty, yeasty grassiness comes in. Some peach and a shitton of oats to finish it all off. So many oats.
F - Actually a damn good mouthfeel for such a low ABV. Thick and creamy, which a slight falter in fullness, but I'm not knocking it at 4.75%. Low carbonation that just fills every crevasse.
O - This is a strange one for sure. Never had Brix City; is this what I should expect? It's a murky mess, but the flavor is growing on me. I'm a little conflicted after seeing Untappd photos varying between a beautiful glowing orange and my brown diarrhea water. The oats and coriander are definitely unique and slightly overpowering, good if you're into that sort of thing. Thankfully, I like oats. The rawer the better so I can dig it.
