Tall can from the source a few days ago...can comes w/o any dating/info that I can see.
Typical hazed n juiced look and leaves ample strands of fine lacing.
Pineapple and lemon/lime on the sniff.
Tasty, and densely flavorful offering with again lime and ripe pineapple coming forward...pretty much delicious.....quality DNEIPA...more fine brew from BCB

Traded for this a while ago but like the other Brix City beers that I've been going through, this didn't have anything written on the bottom of the can. Yes, the hops in this were a bit different but the end result was pretty much the same in that this beer was enjoyable, smooth, and not particularly memorable in any aspect; although it felt a bit like white wine because of the Nelson Sauvin!
The pour to this was a muted melon with lots of dankness and cloudiness to it although that was probably because of this beer's age. Enough sediment settled at the bottom of the liquid to show this beer's age but amazingly, the head and lacing also left a lot to be desired. Both were nearly nonexistent as they had me quickly sipping this after pouring it out. Light wood, white wine, tobacco, and white peach could be found in the nose as the taste was just as dank, nuanced, and outdoorsy. A bit of grape and apricot emerged in the taste as this turned out to be quite dry on the palate, almost as if it was barrel-aged. Some more carbonation would have helped in keeping this lively but it wasn't anything that I had trouble getting through...
There was enough alcohol in it but that never was a factor as it was a bit tricky to discern this beer's essence. It almost reminded me of something from Magnify but like their offerings, it was typical of what else I had from their respective brewery. Not the best from Brix City but at least it wasn't quite like everything else I had from them and besides the chaser of water that I needed after finishing this off, I didn't have any issue with this brew.

Poured from can. Nice yellow hue. Moderate head from vigorous pour. Smell is sweaty Nelson hops. Sweet bite on the palate. Stone fruit, citrus. Moderate bitterness. Overall, nice beer.
