16oz undated can poured into a tulip pint glass at fridge temp 7% ABV per can label. The beer pours very dark brown with nearly no light penetration and mocha colored head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles. Slight lacing. The aroma is moderate in strength featuring toasted coconut with hints of vanilla & chocolate. The taste is semisweet with big notes of toasted coconut and vanilla along with some dark malt and minimal bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium plus bodied with just less than medium carbonation and a somewhat dry finish. Overall, good. This one is big on the coconut and vanilla, with the porter taking a backseat.
