New England style DIPA, ddh with Citra, Nelson Sauvin and Hallertau Blanc hops.
Pouring from a 16 oz. can into a Willi Becher style glass, this beer pours out a turbid and hazy copper shade of orange. It forms a pinky width of tightly packed, eggshell colored crown.
The nose brings elements of melon and other tropical fruit like papaya, guava, and even some banana. A little bit of green grassy notes and a slight hop burn toward the back. Maybe even some slight black pepper.
The taste leads in with melon and ripe banana, followed by the green/grass like notes. Balanced sweetness on the backend almost remiscent of a milkshake ipa.
Thick and even creamy on the mouthfeel. Full bodied with hardly any sharpness to it at all, smooth.
Overall, this is well balanced and crushable. I love the thick, smooth creaminess along with the melon, ripe banana and grass notes I’m getting.
