-brewed with lime zest, flaked maize, and taco shells using Wakatu, Vic Secret, & Motueka Hops.
A: Dank and dark orange with a solid foam white head atop. Spotty lace dabs on the vessel. Good strong carbonation factor with a near full sheet lacing on the vessel.
S: Sweet lemon-lime zest along with some wet tropical mangoes and apricot. Fresh and fruity, juicy scent with a good overall awareness. Yes you do get some indication of the taco shells, floury, tortilla shells. Disclosure, I unintentionally had tacos for dinner prior to this sampling.
T: Tangerine-pineapple with a tangy and tart tropical sense. Tart oranges, creamy malts, nice lemon-lime zing. Very sharp and zesty.
M: Creamy soft mouthful, low carbonation texture.
O: Overall a tangy tropical IPA with a bright and pronounced citrusy-lime zing. Great drinkability. Loved the dare of brewing with taco shells. For the record when I purchased this can it had no indication of who the brewery was on the label. Just thought this was strange for a beer, that i though was solid, very good, 89, and you fail to advertise and take credit.

Poured from an undated-but recently released-can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. It pours a cloudy, honey-tangerine color with over a finger of fluffy, bright white head and a creamy film of lacing. On the nose there is light citrus: lemon, lime, grapefruit, and a fragrant bouquet of hops. It's very flavorful, bursting with lemon, lime, tangerine, and papaya. It also has sweetness from the taco shells and flaked maize used in the mash. And the South Pacific bill of Wakatu, Vic Secret, and Motueka hops provides additional fruity, refreshing taste. It has a tropical punch quality. It's medium-bodied with a pleasant level of carbonation, and a nice pop from the 8% ABV. Overall, Crunchy Space Tacos seems gimmicky on paper but it really works. It's highly flavorful and a lot of fun to drink. I found that I drained the glass before I knew it.
