16 oz can with no date. Bartender at the brewery told me I bought the last 4-pack.
Deep ruby brown color. It's dark, but you can see it has clarity when holding it up to the light. Fluffy, off-white head that dissipates quickly to a thin film.
I'm digging the aroma on this; caramel, nutty, chocolate, light coffee, even a touch of smoke at the end, Good stuff.
Flavor leans on the chocolate, coffee, and lightly roasted malt, with a good dose of earthy hops for balance. Reminds me a lot of a Northern English Brown Ale homebrew I made a few years back, which is a good thing!
Soft and sweet finish. Medium-light bodied, maybe a little on the thin side. Could use a little more body, but a good brown ale overall.

Had this from a can.
A: pours a mahogany brown body with a small, tan head with ok retention and lacing.
S: sweet, burnt toffee smell with some dry, cereal notes
T: dry, cereal taste with some slight, very slight, burnt toffee notes. Dry finish.
M: light bodied; a little thin.
O: pretty good brown ale; feel was a little thin, but not too far off from the style.

Had this on draft at The Cloverleaf Tavern. Poured into a shaker pint, deep amber to dark brown in color with a 2 finger tan head. Lacing was minimal, at best. Typical aroma and flavor you come to expect from a decent brown ale. Very easy drinking beer, would definitely order again. My first Brix City offering, makes me want to take a trip to the brewery.
