No discernable can date. Nice NE kinda-sorta 2x ipa with thickish haze; good mouthfeel; medium hoppiness; a subdued citrusy/fruityish flavor & a clean, quick-fading aftertaste. It's smooth for an 8%er & quaffable but who knows how old it is?

Citrusy sweet and hazy. Fruitiness with a slight hint of bitter hops.

It's not a good start. Cracking open a pint can released enough foam to run over the brim and down the sides. Albeit, this is at cellar temperature, but this is a notable offender. Once poured out, the foam is stark white, usually not a promising sign. Obviously, this is heavily starched and unfortunately, probably without much barley malt. The foam recedes unevenly and slowly. Beneath it, a very cloudy dirty blond ale is viewed within a clear glass liter mug. The aroma has some hoppiness muddled by an overabundance of vague starches. It smells nothing like a traditional IPA, but these are the times we're drinking in. To taste, there's a citrus-like hop bite, but it can't measure up to the starches. They also make the mouthfeel sticky. Even the glass lacing is irregular to the point of ridiculous. At least there was sediment at the bottom of the vessel, a sign of an unfiltered brew and a reason to root for it. It's best attribute is a hidden ABV. But, after this, a Heady Topper chaser is recommended to eliminate any memories

On tap, poured into a 10oz snifter type glass.
Look of grapefruit juice, hazy and dense, with about a 1 finger lingering head that laced nicely. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, and some floral notes. Taste is citrusy sweet with a slight hop bitterness and a light mouthfeel.
Overall, not a bad beer. . .

Dense, lumpy head. Slow to settle. The liquid is milky leaving a white hue to the dirty gold color. Plentiful 3D spots left on the glass as I sip it.
Strong weedy hop aroma. Relatively dry with no corresponding tropical fruit smells I've come to associate with most NE IPAs.
The taste has a bit more sweetness to it--mango and tutti-fruity. Notable alcohol warmth up front. Full bodied with ample carbonation. The finish isn't as bitter as the smell would lead you to believe. Still, this is a hop forward beer. A moderately long aftertaste, perhaps a bit shorter than most of the style.

A: Poured from the can into a Tree House tulip while Nassau, 9/8/73, plays. Body is hazy golden with a 1-finger white head on top that retains well.
S: Good nose of pineapple and stone fruit (think apricot).
T: Really tasty. Tropical fruit, especially pineapple. Grapefruit pith and peel. Modest apricot. Finishes with a good bitterness that reminds you you're drinking beer and not pineapple-orange juice. Alcohol not tasted, but felt in the belly as heat.
M: Surprisingly light on the feel. Juicy without being heavy. Way to easy to drink at 8%.
O: Really good beer, will try more from this brewer when I see them.
