This Bourbon Barrel-Aged Pastry style Imperial Stout was brewed in celebration of our 7th Anniversary and draws inspiration from one of our favorite treats, the Churro. To kick things off, we brewed up the same rich, decadent, and full-bodied base as our previous “Affair” stouts, added Lactose, and aged it 7 months in Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels. From there we conditioned it on a ton of Cinnamon to balance the barrel character, pounds of luscious Mexican Vanilla, and tons of fresh Mexican Chiapas Coffee from our friends, Roast’d!

Massive notes of sweet, cinnamony, churros that have been dunked into rich chocolate sauce and lazily stirred in a cup of Café con Leche.
