On draught at the brewery. It pours a dense, pastel yellow color with a big cap of bright white, creamy foam and copious lacing. It's an attractive pour. The fragrant nose includes lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, and soft floral hops. You can really taste the New Zealand hops. The taste bursts with tart lemon and grapefruit, lime, tangerine, pineapple, white wine grape, and as it warms some additional tropical notes. Citra, Motueka, Nectarine, and Riwaka is a great hop combo that I've experienced several times recently. The mouth feel is plush and creamy and it's very drinkable at 6.6% ABV. Overall, Transcending Jams is an excellent NEIPA - the work of two fine brewers.
