No canned on date. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.

A: Very hazy gold with 2-finger frothy white head with good retention and copious lacing.

S: Lightly minty with more candied fruit aromas including peach, pineapple, and orange. Esters are moderate and fruity.

T: Flavor is solid for the style with similar candied fruit flavors including pineapple, peach, orange, and lime with herbal lemongrass note and moderate fruity and bubble gum esters. Low bitterness.

M: Full body with creamy texture and full finish without chalkiness.

O: Brix City Green Krush is a good hazy IPA with a lot of fruity aromas and flavors that seem to be equal parts hop quality and esters.

It's a good beer after run. Refreshing. It's hazy and has just enough of that hoppy aftertaste to be satisfying.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It's a completely opaque, pastel tangerine color with a big, fluffy, egg-white head and very thick, soapy lacing. The fragrant smell includes lemon, grapefruit, peach, berry, and tropical sweetness. Its taste opens primarily with tart citrus but as it breathes there are increasing notes of berry, peach, mango, and pine, over a firm, crackery malt base with lots of earthy peppercorn and spice. The bitterness is sharp throughout. What started out as somewhat one-dimensional ended up having great depth of flavor. The mouthfeel is rich and creamy with pleasant carbonation, and it drinks big for its 7.2% ABV. Overall, Green Krush grew on me with every sip. It's a very solid New England IPA.
