Picked this up at Gary's in Wayne a few months back as a single can, as I never saw this before. Haven't had anything from Brix City in quite some time, as this was both on par with their other offerings and with what I've become accustomed to for the style.
Interesting pour to this as there was a ton of foam, as the bubbles became increasingly larger towards the top. Those loudly and quickly settled as there was very little lacing left behind. Golden, hazy, and tropical in appearance, this was juicy in appearance and even more so on the palate. The aroma had a ton of soursop and guava but was a bit muted and subtle, as the lactose, cream, and booze were more apparent after the first sip.
Lively in taste and plenty slick, this was fun to have without being too fussy or strong. No date was to be found anywhere but this felt fresh and would be something I'd reach for again as a nightcap, as this was plenty fruity and a wee bit tart without knocking me out. This was a tad short of getting me away from this terrible winter but by itself, this was a fun beer that would appeal to many!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
