BRLO "Lederhoppen"
on tap at the brewery on 2 October 2021
Look: Clear deep amber colored body beneath a full head of densely foamy white. Both the head retention and lacing are very good.
Smell: Grainy, bready, and sweetish.
Taste: Grainy, bready, and caramelish with a touch of herbal and spicy hops. Am median bitterness balances it and it finishes dry and lingering with some mild herbal hops.
Feel: Medium bodied and gently crisp.
Overall: Nicely done, but with a name like Lederhoppen I would have expected it to have more hop flavor and aroma.
