In a 500ml bottle.

Ok, there's a ton of carbonation in this beer. It started coming out of the bottle when I opened it up. In the glass it's a clear golden color. There's a 3 finger white and fluffy head. Great head retention and lacing on the glass.
Aroma is a sweet buttery biscuit. Good grain aroma from the malts.
This is a malty beer as expected. Up front it is more of a sweet buttery biscuit. The back turns to a malted grain flavor and has a good bitterness to it.
Body is quite decent for the ABV. There's a good feeling from the bitterness on the back.
Germans know how to make beer, and this is a good example of a tasty German beer.

Poured from 500mL bottle into a dimpled mug. The rather cryptic date code reads “07 08 10”.

Appearance: light golden hue with just a dash of haze and a finger of frothy eggshell foam atop. Looks good to me.

Smell: quite malt with a little bit of crackery character and a little bit of graininess. It’s soft, and quite appealing.

Taste: light malt with a little bit of yeastiness and a light bitterness on the finish. It’s not super complex, but it’s got a well-rounded flavor profile that I like.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: a very solid helles lager. I could put down quite a bit of this stuff.

Look:
Pours a translucent shade of pale golden yellow, with a decent amount of floaters and yeast sediment at the tail end of the pour. Generates a dense, half finger head of foam that laces the glass very slightly.

Aroma:
Sweet malted cereal grains with a buiscuity undertone of honeycomb. A touch of sour apple and barnyard / wet grass.

Taste:
The flavor is clean and crisp. Very neutral tasting upfront, clean with just a hint of very gentle spicy yeast. Goes grainy and sweet mid palate with flavors of green apple and strudel. Ends on dry notes of grass clippings.

Feel:
Mid weight. Dense but not necessarily rich or creamy. Dry, slightly thin.

Overall:
Not really my cup of tea but a decent helles. I prefer dryer versions of the style. This is too sweet for my taste but I can still appreciate it.

500ml bottle pours a slightly hazy pale yellow color with a substantial, dense head of white-colored foam that recedes to a thick layer on top while leaving a small amount of lacing. Smells strongly of honey and bready malts with a distant noble hop note. Hearty and rich bready malt flavor with very a notable honey note and a restrained grassy-herbal hop flavor that is somewhat dry. Slight sweetness, small bitterness, medium body, and a smooth, sudsy carbonation mouthfeel that is almost creamy.

This is a solid Helles: hearty, satisfying, refreshing, and well-balanced. It was fun to try but I'm not sure it was unique enough to warrant purchasing again.

Pours clear bright yellow with a thin white head that leaves spotty lacing. Aroma is very faint, some biscuit and yeast. Flavor follows the nose, sweet up front with some mild European hops. Feel is light and well carbonated. Overall, a fine beer.

$5 bottle. Very slightly cloudy, bunch of foam, looks great. Smell is delicious barley malt and a generous - but not obnoxious - amount of hops. Taste is very sweet, almost overly so, like a breakfast cereal

16.9 oz bottle with enigma date 23 24 22 into a tall Lager glass.
L: Pours straw yellow with a somewhat thin rounded eggshell white head that has ok retention, large steady carbo bubbles, light spotty lacing.
S: Bready, wild flowers, hay, cereal grains, pastry dough, corn, sweet caramel malts. More malts with warming.
T: Gentle sweet malts, lightly spicy hops, crackery bread, yeast, hay, lightly grassy. Lightly fruity with distant notes of apple and corn. Apfelkorn.
F: Medium crisp, smooth medium to medium-light bodied feel with a full center and a medium length lightly drying finish.
O: This tasty beer has some Pilsner attributes but with less apple. Nice and bready with light yeast. It will compliment many foods and it is refreshing and crushable. I will buy it again. It is excellent in its style.

OK Helles. Poured from a 500 ml bottle into a flute, this beer features a pale, clear gold color and a big foamy/soapy white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma is very mild, a little grainy malt, with a floral hint and a little honey. Flavor iis somewhat mild as well with some grainy malt, grassy hops and a little mineral or herbal aspect. A bit of honey sweetness rounds out the flavor. Many Helles have a pillowy soft mouthfeel. This one was a bit crisp but lacked that "feel" that goes so well with a mild tasting beer. An OK brew, but not that impressive.

From a large bottle, this brew is a golden color…tall and dense had with a light haze in the liquid. The smell has a grainy sweetness and balance. Medium body. Soft and flavorful.
