Copenhagen 29/5 2024. 33 cl bottle from Rewe, Süderquerweg, Hamburg. Metallic blue version of Wildwuchs' usual design with the bearded fellow with a cap.
Pours slightly unclear golden yellow with big white head. Stable. Settles lumpy, uneven layer of foam stretching to cover the surface the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet malty odor mingling with floral and herbal notes. Sweet, pale malts, bread and a bit of synthetic peach. Rose petals and grass.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is a little thin. Bitter. Lingers shortly. Finish is semi-dry and watery.
Well-balanced without being very intersting.

On-draught at Galopper Des Jahres in Hamburg.
Crisp and clean, with an oddly soft mouthfeel. Hop profile is more prominent than you'd find in most pilsners, but it's still balanced by the sharp Pilsner malt backbone. More floral than grassy.
Drinkable albeit highly carbonated, Fastmoker is a highly competent offering in the German Pilsner style.

Pours a murky orange color, with a huge, stable head.
Amazing aromas of citrus peel, bready malts and wheat, while the beer almost got a tropical infusion to it, due to the present citrus, accentuated by tangerine.
Well fitting carbonation, vivid but mellow, without any metallic distractions.
Begins with a profound breadyness, which got a biscuity quality to it, as well as an early detectable dryness, also adding to the malts. Above this clean, well put together foundation, lingers grassy, bitter lemon with an almost dank character. Finishes fairly dry, with fruits making way for the biscuity malts.
This is a fantastic attempt to reinterpret a Pils. Incredibly tasty for its light, very refreshing body. It got an intriguing lemony hop presence, which actually stays till the very end providing a pleasant dryness. Too many german Pilsener turn out being one dimensional or sticky sweet these days, with this being a bold exeption. The malts are exeptional well illustrated by its earthy, slightly mineralic character, topped of by dry citrus.
