Copenhagen 16/5 2024. 33 cl bottle from Rewe, Süderquerweg, Hamburg. Wildwuch's usual label design with a bearded fellow with a cap in orange and red.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 3 cm thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a sugary fruity scent. Sweet pale malts, white sugar and bread. Banana and oranges.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, tingling and almost fizzy texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers shortly. Finish is a tad watery.
Despite not being an Weissbier due to the Pilsnermalt it certainly do resemble one.
