A different interpretation of New England IPA, this time made with whole grain organic rye bread, barley malt, and oat flakes, and hopped with Ariana, Cascade, Hüll Melon, and Mandarina Bavaria hops. The result is indeed cloudy, and rather fuller and grainier than a standard NEIPA, but the hops are nice, and the overall flavor is robust and chewy. Interesting.

896897|Wildwuchs Broid|Wildwuchs Brauwerk|7|3|7|2|14|3.3|Copenhagen 24/5 2024. 33 cl bottle from Rewe, Süderquerweg, Hamburg. Orange version of Wildwuchs' usual design with the bearded fellow with a cap. Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing. Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with a more subdued scent of citrus fruit. Peach, pineapple and apricot. Lemon and lime. Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture. Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart bitterness. Aftertaste is sourish bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry. Nice, fruity, dry and bitter NEIPA.|5/24/2024 5:38:36 PM|Germany|Hamburg|Hamburg|IPA - Hazy (NEIPA)
