Pours a bright and effervescent gold with 2 fingers of pearl colored head. Average head retention & good lacing
S: Citrus & grass
T: Follows the nose, orangey notes up front. Dryness, green melon & lime as this warms.. Finishes dry, a little grassy with lime
MF: Medium body, subdued carbonation, good balance
Easy drinker, good flavor, perfect for warmer weather, drink great now as it is

Dixie Voodoo Doll has a thick, white head, a hazy, golden appearance, with fierce bubbles and moderate lacing. The aroma is of washed out pale malt and hop resins. The flavor is similar, with no bitterness. Mouthfeel is light, and Dixie Voodoo Doll finishes crisp.

12 fl oz pull-tab can nabbed as part of Dixie's 2020 variety box/12 pack.
4.7% ABV. "IPA."
Suffers from a mediocre hop profile and poor hop pungency. Another victim of the session IPA fad, eschewing hop flavour in favour of a lower ABV for fuck knows why. Has some grapefruit rind, tropical fruit (I guess from Simcoe - though there's no Simcoe-derived oniony or garlicky notes),and generic floral hop character but these notes don't work in harmony and fail to amount to a cohesive whole.
Pale malt gives this its generic base.
A throwaway pale ale marketed as an IPA with less hop pungency than Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale. Drinkable, but where is this sold where Sierra Nevada Pale Ale isn't sold cheaper?
Low C (2.77) / AVERAGE
