Lots of character in what appears to be an old church, now converted to a brewery. Super family friendly, live music, descent food. Plenty of patio space to boot.

My wife and I visited this new brewery to sample their beers as well as the food. This family-run pub also operates an apple orchard, so there are ciders on the menu too, although we did not try them. (A selection of wines was also listed.) The pub is located in a quaint, white-sided, former church building just north of the main intersection of this small community.
We ordered a sampler flight of 6 beers (skipping the strawberry rhubarb ale and the porter, which was currently tapped out) that included a lager, a pale ale, a wheat ale, an IPA, a Belgian wheat, and a double IPA. Surprisingly, all of them were exactly the same color, which is not a negative, just an observation. Each was brewed very well to style, except that I felt the IPA was a bit unbalanced toward bitter, and the DIPA, which has ghost peppers, but the pepper pretty much masked the hops. (But it was still tasty.) Overall, we scored these beers at a B- grade.
The food menu is a brunch offering on a Sunday, and the great selections are what we thought to be more typical of an upscale restaurant rather than a pub. (The weekday dinner menu is also full of upscale dishes.) The meals that we selected were so delicious, to the extent that I'd say food is the first item of importance to this pub more than the beer or cider.
This is another fine Michigan brewery that joins all of the other great pubs in this state, and is well worth a visit.
