Poured ~6-8C into a tulip
Pours a crystal clear red-brown body with a nice white head with minimal lacing. A gorgeous beer, made more beautiful knowing it was not filtered! Nice malty nose with toasted breadiness dominating. Taste would be benefited by even more Munich malt in the base. The body has minimal residual sweetness, and a hint of hot alcohol.
Overall, real solid interpretation of the style, though I still prefer the home-brewed version of this recipe more :)
