It is the eve of Veterans' Day 2016, so I am doing a virtual Clink! as a toast to my fellow veterans. My glass is, in reality, filled with Clink! Double Dry-Hopped Ale, but your glass may be filled with whatever you like. Prosit!
From the bottle: "Clink! is our 'anytime' beer. This standard around the SØLE house-hold is a creamy golden pale ale that is intensely cold-hopped late in fermentation to lend intense floral aromas and juicy flavors reminiscent of citrus, melon, and pine resin."
I Pop!ped smoke, signaling the inbound helo as to my position and then gently poured the wounded aboard before we took off. I was a lot less gentle in swirling my beer in my glass once we were safely back to the base. The two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head reminded me of the clouds which we had just flown through. Color was a slightly hazy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 -5), but I could see a lot of carbonation bubbling up from my position. Nose smelled as though it had been double dry-hopped. very citrusy with notes of grapefruit and lemon, reminding me to hit the commissary for some FF&V, especially citrus fruits for cocktails later. Mouthfeel was soft, gentle and rolling around on my tongue, I was put in mind of gentle seas aboard ship, gently rocking, gently rolling, making me very sleepy. Man, this beer was mellow! It may have been the advancing lateness of the hour, but this was really shut-eye inducing. Finish was semi-dry, lightly citrusy and very pleasant. Taps, taps, lights out! Maintain silence about the decks. Now, taps!

A crisp, light pale ale with a smooth taste and clean finish. Just the right amount of hops to start your evening.
