From a growler in a nonic.

It pours a light golden copper color, dulled by a slight haze. Growler pours often yield a big beer head and these pours followed suit; tall, fluffy, and white. Big blotches of lacing.

Fresh pine and pine sap, lemon and grapefruit. It's all hops. No booze, barely a malt.

Lots of hop flavor: Pine, grapefruit, tropical. A hint of pale malt and caramel.

Juicy smooth feel. It finishes slightly bitter with a bit of lingering sweetness. There are enough light malts and oats for back bone. Very fresh.

There's no denying a brew that reminds of a fresh morning in the Jersey Pines!

Taste and smells like a novice homebrew that you keep in your fridge until your next batch is done and you end up pouring some out. The flavor is strong in a bad way. Orangy, clear, carbonated, wouldn't drink again.

Pours a hazy orange not too much to write home about on look, smell is pleasant but slightly underwhelming, taste is on the sweeter side of bitter for an ipa, with light carbonation and nice mouth feel. All in all a good first attempt for what seems like a fairly young brewery. Would try further creations from Sole, best of luck to them.

Had on draft and grabbed a six pack to go. I would say the draft was much better, more like a 4.5, the six pack of bottles, not nearly as good, but still a solid PA IPA.

Appearance: hazy yellow
Smell: faded grapefruit with cloying rot
Taste: obnoxiously sweet for style
Feel: thick despite minimal taste character
Overall: astoundingly bad considering amount of grain and therefore expense spent on this beer. A surprise for sure.
