"Pillowy, hop-saturated, and crushable" is how this beer is described on the label. The first and last were certainly true as this was soft and easy to drink but the middle was a bit debatable. No, this wasn't a bad beer but like Sole, (as they were called when I obtained this) and later Separatist, there wasn't a date or anything stamped on the bottom of the can. This held up well when it came to the sediment but in terms of the taste, I think this was a quasi malt-bomb by the time I got around to it!

Light in hue, the gold was moderately radiant and a bit cloudy with plenty of head to top it off. Most of the lacing was along the top of my pint glass with just a few scattered sections below that. Lots of grass, grain, pineapple, and soft hops as the taste also contained apple, pear and candied sugar with a herbal undertone lasting throughout. A bit funky in the farmhouse sense, this was a smooth American Pale Ale with a balanced body to it and a decent amount of carbonation to it as that kept everything from feeling too heavy.

Not a lot of booze in this one as it was a good example of the style without being typical. The hops here weren't typical and this could have used a brighter taste and maybe some oats or barley to round things out but as it was, this was soft enough and slick enough on the palate that it was impossible to dislike this...

A thanks to the commander of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of tropical fruits. Taste is dank, pineapple, malts, moderate bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

First had 6/21/16 at The Mint in Bethlehem. I hate to use this word, but it really is crushable. It is really a session IPA, albeit the most flavorful I've had. The oatmeal gives it a nice body and creamy, sticky texture. Tropical and dank for days.

Pours a hazy light straw color with over a finger of head. The nose is quite hoppy. The body is light and the flavor profile is decidedly tilted toward the hop end of things.

The brewer calls this an APA but it might be close to the best session IPA that I've sampled.

I tried this on tap at Susquehanna Brewing company served chilled in a glass.

The color is a pale golden with slight hazed look with thin white head. The smell is fruity with slight tropical scent of citrus. The feel is moderately bitter with mild sweetness and moderate carbonation with a mostly dry finish.

The taste has a pleasant hop flavor with dry malt support somewhat mild citrus and herbal hops with a light chalky taste in the back with dry finish. Overall this is good but lacks the oat smoothness I expected based on the description with hop flavor good enough to say give it a try.

Hazy pale golden straw color with a medium head that fades to almost nothing and doesn't lace at all. Aromas are weak, getting some floral hop notes. Notes of unsweetened grain, fresh cut flowers, pepper and light citrus rinds. Thin feel, watery, lower carbonation and finishes with no memory. I really don't know what they were after with this one. It's thin, watery, hoppy but not overly so. If they were aiming for pillowy, hop saturated and crushable they missed.

Pours a pale straw color, average head / retention. Hazy as is the trend these days. Aroma has a little citra hops as well as some floral notes. Body is good, taste is sadly rather pedestrian, base beer is mediocre & they just tossed a bunch of hops on it to cover that up with no mind for balance or flavor equality. By no means bad but you won't remember it two hours later.

Pours a hazy yellow gold color. Smells is dank and sweet. Taste is sweet slightly creamy with nice hop flavor but no bitterness. Overall a solid pale ale different for the style Would recommend but hard to get your hands on. Limited batches and one time runs from this breweries 16 can selections.

Poured out as a hazy golden color with a bit of white head on top. The smell of the beer is pretty well packed with some hop aromas. The taste of the beer is well hopped also. The feel is smooth and crisp. Overall I enjoyed this release from S├śLE.
