I think it first has to be said that this is definitely not a Kolsch. It's a pale ale with certain Kolsch flavor profiles built into it.
Look: Pretty hazy with a light hay look.
Smell: Lemon girl-scout cookies not marketed as Lemonade. Tons of bread, eucalyptus, and yeasty goodness. The citra shows but is not center stage, maybe the denali is what is giving off these aromas or it might be the yeast because there is a definite yeast presence in the smell. A little mint as well.
Taste: Lemon, bread, cookies, yeast, malt. Pretty impressive actually.
Feel: Crisp, not as dry as I wanted but that's okay. Anything with the Kolsch name associated with it should not be this juicy.
Overall: I really like this beer. It's something I could drink many of on a hot day. However, the whole Kolschy Clouds thing is a total misnomer. If I was really craving a Kolsch and grabbed one of these I would probably be disappointed.

Pours bright yellow, slightly hazy with slight head and leaves just a little lacing: smell is bread, grass, and lemon:m. Taste is the same but more pronounced, especially bread and lemon cookie notes. Feel is soft but crisp and refreshing. Between kolschy in the name and it being labeled an APA, im not quite sure what they were going for with this one, but the lemon cookie notes are interesting.
