I had this on draught at the brewery. 12 oz. pour. It pours a turbid, golden-brown color with a thin, milk-white head and lacing. The nose features tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, lime, and marshmallow. It's quite fragrant. It has a complex and pleasing taste. For a turbid IPA, it has a substantial malt base with lots of lemon and lime from the Motueka hops. What sets it apart, though, is the lactose and marshmallow fluff flavor, which becomes more evident as the glass warms. The Galaxy hops are evident in its slghtly bitter and peppery finish. This ale has a pleasant, fairly creamy mouth feel with moderate carbonation, and you can feel its 8% ABV. Overall, this is a unique DIPA. The citrus taste of the Motueka hops and the sweet marshmallow taste complement each other nicely. This is the product of a collaboration between Magnify Brewing and Sole Artisan Ales and it's a first rate DIPA fit for dining or casual drinking. Well done!
