An interesting beer...funky juicy IPA taste up front, tart throughout, and finishes w/ strong passion fruit and almost a sour beer taste that lingers. Glad to have tried it, but wouldn't likely have more than one at a time.

 

 

From can release a week ago

L-looks like pure orange juice......1 finger head that faded quickly...........

S-Some notes of white wine, white grape, lime, passionfruit........aroma is not very strong

T-Some tartness from the beginning......definitely a different animal here.......more tart and sour than tropical like other juicy ipa's.......notes of grapefruit, lime, and passionfruit........passionfruit hangs around long after taking a sip

F-Somewhat juicy, tart, sour bitter finish like lemon juice from a bottle.......mellows as it warms

O-Interesting beer not one I would drink again.......doesn't fit my tastes

 

 

Sushi rice IPA with 800 pounds of passion fruit purée and two helpings of fully dressed sushi rice. Best way to describe this beer is juicy and one of a kind. This beer in my opinion is in a class of its own and it's hard to compare to anything else I have tried. The smell is not as strong as the flavor and the appearance is what we are all looking for in a "hazy" IPA. The taste is extreamly hop forward followed by prominent passion fruit and grapefruit juice flavors which also bring the acidity just like juice. The scary part is this beer drinks easy like a session IPA but comes in at 7.5% ABV. Great thirst quencher for sure.
