ATF is brewed using a heavy dose of white wheat, with panettone cakes thrown into the mash, and sacks of orange peel and white raisins steeped in the boil. We double dry hopped this sticky, juicy wort in the fermented with loads of Lemondrop and El Dorado. The result yields a dense layer-cake body, bright tropical notes, and big candied orange flavor.

Short pour at South Philly taproom. Hazy yellow, golden, small creamy head. Light citrusy aroma, lemon. Taste is more citrus, oranges, tangy. Not that strong in feel.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 11/25/2019. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew, watermelon, raisin, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, green tea, dill, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Minimal booze in the aromas as it warms. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, raisins, citrus peels, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew, watermelon, raisin, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, green tea, dill, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, minty, peppercorn bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew, watermelon, raisin, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, green tea, dill, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, raisins, citrus peels, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Mild increasing warmth of 11%, with minimal lingering booze after the finish. Overall this is an excellent TIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, raisins, citrus peels, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip of for the huge ABV, with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; nicely soft and not overly aggressive. Excellent Lemondrop, El Dorado profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. Not much cake or raisin notes as advertised, but spot on TIPA otherwise. No complaints.

Poured into a 13 oz teku glass canned on 12/13/18. Pours a very murky orange yellow with a massive 2 finger sticky white head that leaves big thick streaks of lace behind.
Smell is aggressive papaya, apricot, ripe pineapple, tangerine, candied sugar, and red grapefruit.
Taste follows papaya, apricot, pineapple, tangerine, mellon, candied fruit, and grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is big, moderate life, sticky and lush, and at 11% ABV dangerously approachable and the alcohol is concealed incredible.
Overall this is a huge NETIPA and oz got to say I really dug it. The easyiest drinking Triple IPA I have ever dabbled with. Thanks jzeilinger for this excellent can.

Released today from Sole Artisan Ales
A - Pours a hazy, borderline opaque pink/tan color with an overly thick, bright white creamy lacing head.
S - Yep, smells alot like cake with some very dank tropical fruit: pineapple, papaya, guava, and passion fruit along with some light spiciness.
T - Juicy, dank, vinous and spicy fruit from start to finish with a long, lingering fruity spiciness and a small amount of pine bite. Some berry is showing up as well.
M - Full bodied with a velvety, slippery feel. The 11% is deceptively well hidden with little to no heat on the way down. Impressive.
O - This is an impressive beer and hope Sole decides to brew this one again.
