We took our original Keep It Mello, brewed with marshmallow fluff, vanilla, oats and lactose and hopped with Galaxy and Motueka and conditioned it on tangerine, cherry, pineapple and coconut.

I had this on draught at the brewery . It pours a turbid, dirty apricot color with a milk white head and lacing. It has a really bold smell of pineapple, tangerine, coconut, and lactose. The primary tastes at the front end are pineapple and coconut with sweet lactose. Toward the middle there is a distinct taste of oats and a hint of cherry. It finishes surprisingly bitter and peppery with a touch of yeast burn. It's truly a roller coaster of sweet and bitter. It has a nicely creamy mouth feel with pleasant carbonation, and the 8% ABV gives it a nice kick without being distracting. Overall, Ambrosia is like two distinct beers: it opens true to its name, with tropical fruit, coconut, and sweet lactose and finishes like a typical NE IPA brewed by Magnify. It's interesting but I prefer the original Mello.
