Whew, I'm glad I didn't go to PA and buy these (don't you still have to buy a case or some nonsense in PA? - no sixpacks). It's pricey and not really something I would want again.
It pours darker than the New England IPA's usually do. It's mostly opaque and has little head. The aroma is a little of that skunky citra (or whatever they used on this one) and a bit of the orange, fruity adjunct. The taste is a balance of the dry IPA taste with lots of orange on top. It's slightly tart and slightly bitter. The aftertaste is also more of the orange than the hops and malt.
Not recommended. It is unique but overpriced and it really doesn't work well for me. I'm going to put the brewer on probation for me - not likely to try any more from them.
