Dank and hazy DIPA brewed with experimental hop HPC 630. Notes of orange creamsicle with a light resinous/sappy finish.

See my review of their Strands of Gold; they were pretty close to being the same beer by when I got them.

Its puffy head indicates that this is another brew with oats and/or wheat used as a barley malt substitute(s) in the wort. That should disappoint IPA lovers, but this seems to make no claim about being one. Before the tasting, the head is receding unevenly in that overly starched brew manner. The color is attractive, in that hazy, but bright, orange-amber range. Still, the ridiculousness of the head is insurmountable. There's a dank hoppiness at the front of the aroma. The other hop reminders would be mildly fruity, yet earthy. It drinks on the flat side, despite that starchy head that endures. The glass lacing, like the head itself, is irregular and unappealing. This carries an 8.6% ABV which is nicely integrated into the taste. Unfortunately, that might be it's best attribute. A sweet opening, devoid of any barley malt sweetness, nor its depth. makes only a modest transition to dry at the finish. This is more because of the alcohol than any tasteful hopping. This can't be considered anything more than a good dose of alcohol that can go down quickly.
